What is the difference between a granulator and a grinder?
Granulators take materials down to an extremely fine particle size. Particle size is consistent with a granulator. Granulators are mainly used in the plastics and vinyl markets and use actual knives for chopping the material down into minute pieces. Grinders can handle materials that are in much bigger pieces. Materials can be chopped by grinders and then further reduced into consistent particles by granulators.
