Size reduction equipment can comprise of crushers, chippers, shredders, wood hogs, hammermill, etc. The size reduction pieces of equipment can reduce and minimize the size of the materials like wood, metal, waste materials, types of stone, etc. These size reduction machines are rugged and durable to handle small or large jobs and applications that fit within their specifications.
Crushers can be used for grinding foods like coffee, pepper, rice, salt and minerals like gypsum, limestone, rock salt, etc. into particles or desired size. A wood chipper can have a drum or a disk and each have different purposes that depend on what the end product would be used for, such as landscaping, animal bedding etc. Shredders have a vast range of things it can handle depending on the type of materials. A hammermill is a large steel drum with vertical or horizontal rotating shaft or drum that hammers are mounted on to. There are different types of hammermill machines or equipment depending on the end results. Some use a hammermill for small grain and others can be used for ethanol, fruit juice, pallets, compost to crushing large rocks.
